Say it with me people – Hola Summer! Happy Memorial Day!

I’m officially a little bit sun-kissed and the inaugural BBQ’s and rosé pouring have gone off without a hitch. Today, it’s all about the beach and I plan to hit the sand and surf fully stocked with the essentials for the perfect day ahead.

After putting together my beach bag all I realized was that clearly, even on my days off, I have a lot to say. Much of which included a welcome to warm weather and putting on my “Out of Office” in the form of my favorite sun hat and stocking the Break the Ice cooler (full of H2O and summer sauv blanc) – of course!

One essential – sun screen. A few weeks ago we talked about my #SkinCancerAwarenessMonth story. Real talk – I haven’t always been responsible in the sun. In fact, I’ve been known to turn a few shades of purple post-spring break leading to some not so great news from the dermatologist. In my later 20’s I’ve become religious to find sun protection, but also something that doesn’t feel overly greasy or dry out my skin. Not to mention smells better than some white pasty cream.

So when my friends at Hawaiian Tropic shared their new Silk Hydration Weightless Lotion I was happy to try it out. Filled with island inspired fragrances of Hawaii (can we go please!?) it leaves my skin feeling moisturized pampered and protected – exactly how you want to feel when relaxing in the sun.

While little beach getaways are in our future today, my friends at Hawaiian Tropic know how much I travel and are sweetening the deal with a tropical vacation for two! You can enter by sharing a photo of your summer Hawaiian Tropic moments on Instagram using #MyAlohaMoment #Sweepstakes and tagging @HawaiianTropic to win.

See you there – sun kissed and America Beer in hand!
