Hey y’all from the great state of Texas! Yes once again I hopped on another plane and traveled to my home away from home for a weekend at Create & Cultivate blogger conference. But if we’re being honest, I really came for the big skys and queso.

My trip though short brought me down here to do some networking and recon with some of my favorite blogger friends. I got to catch up with the lovely Devon Cruse and meet a few other’s that I’m currently collaborating with through work. There’s nothing better than putting a face to an e-name don’t you think?

Additionally I wanted to introduce you all to another brand I am IN LOVE with. As a hair-sessed blonde finding cute ways to pin back my hair that skews sophisticated over childish is always a challenge. How do you stay whimisical while still being able to rock a bow or a barrett to the office? Elizabeth Heard the brains behind the insatiable Elizabeth Heard Barretts has that sassy, stylish sophistication on lock down. I mean how adorable is this elephant barrett?

CAREER // I had the pleasure of listening to the lovely Julie Price and Elizabeth Cutler, the founders of Soul Cycle speak at C&C – they are just as motivating as the classes themselves – #SpinCryIsReal. Here’s just a taste of their brilliant career advice c/o The Coveteur.

While we’re talking about staying inspired in your career sometimes the hustle is what gets me down. Always chasing the next thing. So when life seems to be one big ball of crazy trapped in what I feel like is my NYC snowglobe just remember – “Everything is Fine.” c/o The Cut.

TRAVEL // Domaine has found the new “best day” to book flights! Sinanara Tuesday. Looks like ill be able to book when I have a little more time on my hands!

STYLE // Three words – WHO WHAT WEAR. One more word. TARGET. Last three words – DROP THE MIC.

NEW YORK CITY // Well we went from Jonas (not the Nick kind) to slushy streets of brown snow. I think I’ll stay inside and just drink a hot toddy – a Lavender Orange Hot Toddy to be exact.

It’s back to the big bad city tomorrow and then – bring on the beach!

TGI-Weekend kids!
